Legal Requirements
You must be 21 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Dove Ridge Winery. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from Dove Ridge Winery are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.
Credit Card Charges
Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
States Authorized for Direct Shipment
Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, we may be able to ship wines, directly or indirectly within Texas to Alaska, Florida, Minnesota, and Washington D.C.
Shipping Costs
UPS is Dove Ridge Winery carrier of choice (common carrier). Ground and Air shipping is provided by UPS at current market rates. Shipping costs are determined by weight of package (the number of bottles) purchased in one shipment. UPS Ground will be the choice provided for all wine club shipments.
Wine is a Delicate Commodity
Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Dove Ridge Winery is not responsible for and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser. We will attempt to send wine out when weather is preferable, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Club Specific Requirements:
In exchange for club benefits such as the bottle discount, free tastings, exclusive access to select new wine releases, and club exclusive parties, you agree to be charged quarterly with the card on file. The following seasons are the target times for each club Spring-March, Summer-June, Fall-September, Winter-December.
You agree to participate in the first wine club that occurs after you sign up, otherwise you will be billed a $100 early cancellation fee. To ensure this does not happen please ensure your credit card remains up to date each season. If your club order has been pulled during any season and you cancel after the order has already been pulled from inventory and packaged you will be billed a $25 restocking fee for each order. Exchanges or Refunds during any season after orders have been processed may, at our discretion, be billed a restocking fee.
If a wine becomes out of stock during a club season we reserve the right to substitute the wine with a comparable wine, the price will be changed to correspond with the wine changes. This will most likely only happen on seasonal exclusive orders such as the mulled wine kits, or on high demand blends or varietals (we choose wines that have inventory to fulfill all the default Winemakers choice orders, but if every single member chooses all of their wines to be the exact same wine this may overwhelm the inventory, which is very unlikely). If your wine hasn't been picked up within 12 months, the order will be forfeit.
Lastly, the benefits and/or terms of use are subject to change at any point due to any unforeseen circumstances.
Returns & Cancellations
We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. We ask the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Please send an email to doveridgewinery@gmail.com to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product.
Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges. Please contact the tasting room at our email or call/text 817-458-8103 for return instructions.
A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all canceled orders.
All wine club and online orders will be restocked without customer compensation or credit if they are abandoned at the winery after one year. This includes, but is not limited to, purchased orders left at the winery, and/or packages that have returned to the winery, especially after attempts to contact the customer have failed. Wine purchased for an event, whether it be with Dove Ridge Winery or Dove Ridge Vineyard are also subject to restocking without customer compensation or credit if they are abandoned at the winery 60 days past their contracted event date.
